Executive Team

Having worked as a Litigation Executive for many years, I found myself searching for a new challenge, one where I could make a difference in more than just a monetary way, and completely unplanned I found my way into prison! I spent 15 years as Education Administration Manager and Deputy Exams Officer in the two largest prisons in Kent and Medway supporting the teams of teachers and trainers to deliver qualifications in basic literacy, numeracy and vocational courses. Whilst working in a secure environment can be extremely challenging, I found a great deal of satisfaction in supporting the rehabilitation of offenders by working with them to increase their qualifications and skills and help prepare them for release.

Having dipped my toes into the education landscape, I was hooked and made the decision to head ‘back to school’ where I worked as an Office Manager in a primary school for just over 5 years. I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with the teachers/support staff/families (and of course the children!) to provide the best opportunities and experiences for those in our care. I saw first-hand the difference that strong and confident leadership can make and I therefore jumped at the opportunity to join the LLSE team in January 2020 as Office Manager. I work across LLSE’s contracts, including NPQs and also have the privilege of providing business support on behalf of LLSE to the Kent Association of Headteachers, where I continue to see and hear about the incredible work and outcomes that Headteachers, leaders and school staff accomplish, during ever challenging times.
