At LLSE we see a number of Senior Leaders exploring either full or part time work as Executive coaches. For some this is a role they take on alongside their leadership of an organisation, for others this is a transition into a new way of supporting colleagues in their profession in a different way. What we often see is that coaches get qualified, but they struggle to convert that into a sustainable income. That is where the Executive Coachpreneur Programme can help.

What are the Coachpreneur Programmes?

Many coaches qualify as a coach but lack the knowledge and skills about how to build and maintain a successful coaching business. The Executive Coachpreneur Programme is a powerful, industry leading pathway designed for people who want to qualify as a professional executive coach and learn about how to build and maintain a commercially successful coaching practice.

This programme is more than a qualification; it’s an opportunity to redefine your future as a coach and business owner. You’ll leave not only with enhanced capability, but with the clarity, confidence, and commercial strategy to build a sustainable, high-impact coaching practice.

How are the programmes structured?

We offer two routes through the programme:

The full Coachpreneur® programme package – For people wanting to achieve a qualification, accreditation and complete the full business programme as well

The full coachpreneur® package includes:

• The prestigious, industry leading ILM Level 7 Diploma for Executive & Senior Level Coaches & Mentors
• EMCC Senior Practitioner Accreditation (this is depending on level of experience)
• The Business of Coaching Programme – an in-depth training programme which includes all you need to know to launch your successful coaching business
• The Financial Confidence for Coaches Programme – a solid foundation in business finance to set you up to be a profitable coachpreneur!

The Coachpreneur® Business and Finance Essentials package – For people who already have a qualification and want to complete the full business programme

The Coachpreneur® Business and Finance Essentials package includes:

• The Business of Coaching Programme – an in-depth training programme which includes all you need to know to launch your successful coaching business
• The Financial Confidence for Coaches Programme – a solid foundation in business finance to set you up to be a profitable coachpreneur!

About the ILM Level 7 Diploma (Route 1 only)

Core areas of learning include:

• What executive coaching is and is not
• Strategic purpose of coaching and mentoring in complex organisations
• Coaching models and frameworks
• Advanced listening, questioning, presence and contracting skills
• Ethics, supervision, reflective practice and professional standards
• Emotional intelligence, beliefs, values and psychological approaches in coaching
• Feedback, challenge, support and endings in coaching relationships
• Transitioning from 1:1 executive coaching into group and team coaching

This practice-based development includes:

• Supervised coaching practice
• Reflection journal and reflective practice models
• Peer-to-peer coaching observation and feedback
• Coaching supervision

The qualification element is made up of 3 formal assessments, one of which is a written assignment, one of which is based on 60-hours of live coaching practice (with 6-9 clients) and one of which is focused on your reflective practice as a professional coach.

This is a formally recognised qualification.

About the EMCC accreditation (route 1 only)

The European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) Senior Practitioner Level accreditation provides internationally recognised, independent validation of your coaching practice at a senior level. Unlike training qualifications, EMCC accreditation is less about what you’ve studied, and more about how your practise.

Senior Practitioner accreditation recognised coaches who:

• Work with senior leaders, executives and complex organisational systems
• Demonstrate consistent, ethical and reflective coaching practice
• Engage in regular, high-quality coaching supervision
• Commit to ongoing CPD and professional development
• Can evidence, depth, maturity and impact in their coaching work

The programme builds on your ILM Level 7 qualification with further evidence of your experience, CPD, and profile as a coach; as well as assessment against the EMCC competence framework and a statement of support form your supervisor.

About the Business of Coaching Programme (both routes)

This programme focuses on turning coaching capability into a clear, tangible, market-ready business. Participants are supported to move from idea to offer to securing clients to building sustainable systems.

This aspect of the programme includes:

Foundation and vision

• Niche and offer design
• Validation before launch
• Sales, marketing and visibility
• Automation and Tech foundations
• Online presence

It also includes:

• 50 done-for-you social media templates
• A lead magnet creator GPT
• A welcome pack for your clients which you can personalise via Canva
• Many more done-for-you tools that will be invaluable when you are starting out as a coach.

About the Financial Confidence for Coaches programme (both routes)

This programme is all about planning for profit and building your own sustainable and profitable coaching business.

The twelve core modules include:

• Business Set-Up Essentials – structures, compliance and foundations
• Introduction to UK Taxes – understanding obligation and planning ahead
• Your Finance Tech stack – tools, systems and automation
• Your Financial Freedom vision – starting with the end in mind
• Know your numbers – income, costs, margins and capacity
• Profit Levers and Pricing Strategy – pricing for sustainability and value
• Cashflow strategy and Planning – managing peaks, troughs and growth
• Forecast Your Future P&L – planning beyond “hope marketing”
• Reality Check and Adjust – reviewing data and making informed decisions
• Financial Routes for Success – weekly, monthly and quarterly habits
• PAYE vs Freelance – portfolio careers and hybrid income streams
• You as CFO – thinking strategically about money, systems and scale

Wrap around support

The full Coachpreneur® package includes comprehensive support in the form of coaching supervision, mentoring and tutorials to ensure the qualification, accreditation and business building elements are all well supported.

Those purchasing the Coachpreneur® Business and Finance Essentials package, who wish can purchase additional 1 to 1 Business Coaching and Mentoring. This support would focus specifically on the realities of building a coaching business.

How long does it take?

The programme is flexible. Our minimum completion time is 6 months and the maximum is either 2.5 years for the full route 1 programme or 2 years for the route 2 programme.

What does the programme cost?

The full Coachpreneur® package:

Currently we have Beta pricing for the first cohort which is a 50% discount on the full launch price.

The total beta course fee is £6,000+VAT if paid as a lump sum.

We also offer the option to pay in instalments as follows:

• £1,500+VAT at registration
• 6x monthly instalments of £750+VAT

After the first cohort prices will rise to £12,000+VAT if paid as a lump sum.

Instalments as follows:

• £1,200+VAT at registration
• 12x monthly instalments of £900+VAT

The Coachpreneur® Business and Finance Essentials package:

The total course fee is £3,162.50+VAT if paid as a lump sum.

We also offer the option to pay in instalments as follows:

• £950+VAT payment at registration
• 5x monthly instalments of £500+VAT.
