Association of Mental Health in Education
The Association of Mental Health in Education is a national organisation that aims to support, nurture and grow the mental health in education community to include over half of UK schools by 2027.
Guided by a committee of our members, educators and professionals, AMHIE provides the community with tailored and timely support. We offer free membership to educational settings, or if you would like more done-for-you options you could invest in one of our paid memberships.
How we support the community:

Belonging Effect Ltd
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging are integral to creating a school system where staff and students feel safe, valued, respected, seen and heard. We advocate for a strategic DEIB role on every school leadership team as DEIB are golden threads that weave through every aspect of a school’s policies, processes and practices. Belonging needs to be at the heart of our school culture and our school curriculum.
In 2020 #DiverseEd moved from being a grassroots network to Diverse Educators Ltd. We evolved into a training company due to the demands of our community. We are committed to moving the agenda forwards regarding Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in our school system. We work with state schools, independent schools and international schools to support them with their DEIB strategy and their DEIB training needs. We believe that we are stronger, and that we can go further together, in collaboration.

LLSE and Educational and Sporting Futures (ESF) have worked in partnership to design and develop this innovative senior leadership pathway which combines two nationally accredited and recognised qualifications to offer a rich learning experience with opportunities to:
- Explore research-informed practice
- Apply learning through practical projects and case studies
- Widen leadership knowledge and skills to include business, governance and financial planning
Educational and Sporting Futures (ESF) are an Ofsted Outstanding-rated Apprenticeship provider who have worked with schools since 2011 to deliver a range of Apprenticeships to students, teachers and support staff.
Heads Up
Heads Up is a network for Headteachers, providing peer support, coaching, crisis support and campaigning for ethical treatment and support for Headteachers.
LLSE and Heads Up are collaborating to signpost new Headteachers and NPQH alumni to the support provided by the network. Through LLSE’s partnership with the Kent Association of Headteachers, we are bringing a sustainable model of peer coaching to the 600 Headteachers across the county.
National Institute of Teaching and Education
National Institute of Teaching and Education, part of the Coventry University Group, is a leading global provider of initial teacher training and postgraduate degrees in education and educational leadership. Awarded Institute status in 2021, it is rapidly become one of the country’s largest providers of Initial Teacher Training. National Literacy Trust
Membership of the National Literacy Trust supports whole-school strategic literacy planning and improvement. Practical library and classroom teaching resources are tailored for early years, primary and secondary phases, addressing the curriculum requirements for each phase across reading, writing and oracy, as well as for subject disciplinary literacy in secondary schools.
In addition, members can access useful e-learning courses, plus benefits such as discounts with partners on book purchases and magazine subscriptions. A regular members’ newsletter keeps you up to date with the latest research, resources and exclusive member opportunities.
Through our collaborative partnership the National Literacy Trust are offering LLSE NPQ participants a 25% discount on a membership subscription.
The Kent Association of Leaders in Education
The Kent Association of Leaders in Education – KALE – champions the professional expertise of Headteachers to lead improvement across the large and diverse county of Kent. It provides a community for school leaders to share practice, form collaborations and explore strategies to address shared challenges.
LLSE works in partnership with KALE to build capacity for the association’s strategic development, project management, communication and engagement.

The Real Group
The Real Group provides professional development that makes a real difference to young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Through a suite of companies, they provide educational psychology services, dyslexia training and a range of specialist and leadership training including the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) and Master of Education in SEND with Middlesex University. Real Group have developed expertise in e-learning and an innovative platform, Campus Live.
LLSE and Real Group have partnered to develop LLSE Learn, our bespoke learning platform for the NPQs.

WomenEd
LLSE and WomenEd have shared objectives around equity and inclusion and are committed to growing and developing the next generation of women teachers and school leaders equipped with the knowledge, skills, determination and passion necessary to confidently lead great schools.
LLSE shares the #WomenEd mission for more women in education to have the choice to progress on their leadership journey by working to remove systemic and organisational barriers to such progress (e.g., flexible working) and to empower and enable women to achieve their next leadership step, if they choose to progress in leadership roles.
