Our Systemic Team coaching offer is designed to improve the effectiveness and impact of your team. Systemic team coaching is a process that focuses on improving the effectiveness and performance of a team by considering the team as part of a larger system. It involves coaching the team not only on its internal dynamics, communication, and collaboration but also on how it interacts with external factors, such as the organisation, stakeholders, and the environment. The goal is to enhance the team's collective intelligence, align its objectives with organisational goals, and foster a deeper understanding of the systems and relationships that influence its work. This approach encourages the team to reflect on its purpose, strategies, and challenges while promoting sustainable change and long-term performance improvements. We can work with teams at all levels including: support staff teams, middle managers, senior leaders, executive teams and governance professionals.
Will this take place in-person or online?
The programme will usually take place in person, with the potential to develop a mix of online sessions alongside the face to face ones.

Systemic team coaches work with teams to improve their overall performance. What does the programme offer?
The programme is aimed at working collectively and in some cases individually with team members. Our coaches can schedule sessions around your team’s availability and can focus generally on improving performance or deep dive into a particular issue or problem which needs solving. Every team is different, and our aim is to develop an approach which best suits the particular context and scenario the particular organisation is facing. As with other types of coaching, the focus is on agreeing and then working towards particular goals and intentions. By undertaking group sessions, group dynamics can be explored and adaptions to systems and processes can be identified and actioned.

Who will the coaches be?
At LLSE we believe that those involved in coaching school leaders, should themselves be experienced in education and educational leadership. We, therefore, require all coaches to have current or recent experience of working with educational leaders. Most of our coaches are current or recently serving school leaders themselves, so are used to working to support senior leaders. Our coaches also have a variety of qualifications and accreditations in coaching to ensure that they are effective executive coaches.
Our coaches come from a vast array of backgrounds and so cover all phases and school types and have had experiences of working with a huge range of leadership issues. Our aim is to match you with the coach best suited to meet your specific needs. View all team coaches profiles here.
How frequently will the sessions be?
You and your coach will agree that between you. Some teams may want a very quick succession of sessions to deal with a specific issue; others may want to work with a coach over a year or longer developing their systems, processes and skills. This can be discussed as part of our discovery call.
